Botanique of Cape Cod is looking for a floral designer to join our team for the 2024 season and possibly beyond. Ideal start date will be April of 2024, but willing to start employment sooner for the right person.
We are excited for our fully booked 2024 wedding season, as we will be designing some incredible events at the best venues on Cape. And attached to our design studio is our small award-winning retail flower shop from which we do daily flower deliveries locally and sell plants, gifts, etc. Our style is very natural and wild, featuring unique and locally grown blooms whenever possible.
Our ideal candidate will have a few years of professional floral design experience. We also put emphasis on a positive attitude, great work ethic, and a strong ambition to learn and challenge yourself.
We can be flexible with the amount of hours per week you'd like to work, but do require some weekends and holidays. Pay will be based upon experience, and we also offer bonuses, commission, and tips.

Job duties will include but are not limited to:
-Processing and caring for fresh flowers
-Designing arrangements in Botanique’s signature style- may be required to follow pre-determined recipes and stem counts
-Opportunity to bring your own creative flair and collaborate on designs
-Wedding work; installations, arbors, tablescapes, personals (all with assistance/supervision until you're confident on your own)
-Cleaning of work space, washing buckets, sanitizing tools etc.
-Working on your feet for the entire shift, in various weather on event days
-Bending, lifting, carrying, kneeling, climbing ladders
Job Types: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: From $22.00+ per hour, pay based on experience
