The Technical Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the technical department. They must understand that we are a customer service driven company and the best way to look after the interests of our team members is to look after the interests of our customers first. The Technical Supervisor will work on the preparation and organization of the technical department overseeing completion of daily work and the management of the technical team.
The Technical Supervisor must have excellent management skills such as problem solving, communication, leadership, time management and team building. Every task contributes toward the overall goal of providing a great service, in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and direct the technical department to meet and exceed customer service requirements for new and existing customers
- Develop and implement programs and training necessary to ensure that all Technicians are aligned with the goals of the department
- Supervise, schedule, assess performance, train and coach Technicians
- Manage and enforce all company policies and procedures, as well as Health and Safety policies
- Plan production routes for each work day and allocate work to Technicians and SR Technicians
- Arrange maintainenance ofa fleet of vehicles and equipment
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required to meet the goals of the company

- Valid Massachusetts driver’s license (must be able to be underwritten on our insurance policy)
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to work in a results-oriented team environment
Education
- Post secondary education is preferred
Experience
- Extensive sales and/or industry experience is preferred
- 1-3 years experience in a supervisory role is not required, but is preferred
- Massachusetts Pesticide License is required and must have witihin two weeks of being employed to move past initial trial
