IMMEDIATE OPENING for a Restaurant Assistant General Manager for a fast-casual restaurant in Provincetown, MA. Salary $70K (depending on experience) plus full benefits. Restaurant Assistant Manager will head FOH operations. Support the General Manager in leading, and developing a team to success in this high-volume, full-service location.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Two years restaurant FOH manager experience (preferred)
· Strong financial acumen, including an understanding of P&Ls and COGS
· Required food handler certification
Qualifications
· 2+ years experience as a FOH Manager in a high volume environment, experience in a new store opening (preferred)
· Knowledge of managing a very seasonal business - flexing up dramatically for the summer months and tightening belts in the winter
· A strong understanding of systems, both operational and developmental/training
· Excellent communication skills both with your team and with operational leadership
· Strong financial / business acumen and understanding of food safety standards, DOH regulations
· The ability to synthesize data into actionable items
· Excellent hospitality standards - best in class when running daily service
· A willingness to get your hands dirty - this is a very active job, leading the team by example every day
· Ability to handle shellfish / tolerate exposure to shellfish allergen
Duties & Responsibilities
Building, leading and developing a dynamic and diverse team
Ensuring our guests have an amazing dining experience
Assisting the General Manager in the daily operations of the restaurant
Managing catering orders and onsite private events
Analyzing sales and controlling expenses, payroll and inventory
Utilizing your exceptional attention to detail, safety, cleanliness and organization
Communicating the restaurant's mission of serving sustainable, traceable food
