The Casual Gourmet is a locally owned and operated diversified food service company specializing in Cape Cod weddings. We are proud to be one of Cape Cod’s largest, oldest and most successful catering companies with a broad range of clientele that includes noted corporations and prestigious charitable organizations. We are looking for high energy dedicated culinary professionals to join our team both off premise and in our production kitchen.
We currently have both full time and part time positions available.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare batch recipes for multiple events ensuring that quality, consistency, and presentation is met or exceeds company standards.
Exhibit strong teamwork and maintain a positive and professional attitude.
Follow perp list created cy Chef or Sous for daily production ensuring that items are properly handled, labeled, and stored on event cart.
Helps or leads setup and breakdown of event kitchens.
Coordinates with Event Supervisor regarding to style of plating service, timing of courses and other special needs
Performs other relevant duties as required
Education and Experience:
Culinary graduate or experience accepted. Possessing strong cooking and production techniques to apply to off-site functions would be helpful. And willingness to learn
