A Cape Cod organization with a stellar 40-year reputation is looking for the right individual to be our Outreach Coordinator. We see the position as a part-time one, about 20 hours a week give or take, within a hybrid remote/office work arrangement. Ideal for a parent who wishes to work while children are at school, or for someone in a similar situation. While some work can be conducted in the evenings, there is a requirement that most of your efforts be during general business hours.
While not a "sales job" per se, this position does entail some outreach efforts to other organizations and individuals, by phone and email, which could include cold calling to enlist the assistance of these organizations. A person who is at ease in a sales environment would be comfortable in this position, as well as any self-starter who can think on the fly.
Because we are a local organization reaching out to other local organizations and business leaders, a working knowledge and understanding of Cape Cod, its communities and our culture, would be a great asset. Someone who has lived on the Cape for many years would likely achieve more satisfaction from his/her work experience than would a newcomer to the Cape. But we set no strict limitations.
