Manager Needed - Cottage Group - House Provided (Truro)
Manager Vacancy Cottage group located in Truro, MA is seeking an experienced professional to manage this property year round while ensuring that the highest standard of service and the best possible guest experience is maintained. There are nine cottages on the beach. Cottages rent from May through October. We rent from Saturday to Saturday. Position begins March 1, 2024 with a one year contract.
Qualifications:
Experience in motel / condo / hotel management desired. Work experience on Cape Cod preferred.
Ability to perform basic home repairs including carpentry, plumbing and electrical.
Computer proficiency – wifi/internet
Ability to perform landscaping services such as lawn maintenance, weeding, flower beds , trimming etc.
Self-starter / self-initiator
A resume with a cover letter, three non-family references including your current employer.
A background check will be processed including a criminal record and a child abuse clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
All aspects of guest reservations including check-in/check-out
Maintenance of the grounds, the deck/umbrellas, boardwalk, beach area and parking lot
Live on-site year round – 12 month position
Address guest concerns
Clean cottages on change over days. Cottages rent from Saturday to Saturday. Cleaning is between 10-2 pm.
Benefits:
A year round RENT FREE two bedroom home, on the water, including all utilities plus wifi/internet, to live in
during your employment with us. No sub-letting.
A small salary plus a set fee for every cottage cleaned on change over days. Salary based on experience.
One day off of your choosing Monday through Thursday.
The ability to work somewhere else from Dec. thru March while still living on our property rent free.
You will receive Liability insurance and Workmen’s Comp insurance

Finding a year round home / condo / apartment to rent in our area is just about impossible. Right now, Real Estate agents will tell you that the average 2 bedroom home for rent, in this area, is about $3000 a month without utilities and NOT on the water. Parking is also an issue with most of those rentals.
