Protect and grow core markets by influencing and supporting sales representatives through collaborative sales planning, joint customer visits, and product training.

Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential customers in your territory

Access high-growth adjacent markets by prospecting and cold-calling new customers in new markets.

Actively build and maintain a sales pipeline to achieve annual operating plan

Provide booking and revenue forecasts to ensure revenue attainment.

Research competitors and industry activities to partner with cross-functional teams on product marketing activities.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's Degree required in Life Sciences or STEM related

5+ years proven sales experience, preferably in laboratory and/or water products

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Strong prospecting, discovery, sales planning, and territory leadership skills.

Excellent interpersonal and rapport-building skills to influence decisions across all levels of an organization.

Strong technical competence in product demonstration, seminars, and product training

Frequent same-day travels within Massachusetts and 30%+ overnight travels are required within the assigned territory (New England, NY, NJ, Eastern PA and Delaware)

Experience with Salesforce.com or comparable CRM preferred.
