Collections Specialist

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Braintree, Massachusetts. This role primarily revolves around managing overdue accounts, utilizing customer service skills in a professional manner. The Collections Specialist will be expected to use various software tools to track progress and communicate effectively with customers.Responsibilities: Engage in outbound calls to manage overdue accounts and ensure prompt payments. Use Accounting Software Systems and CRM to keep track of customer information and progress. Answer inbound calls professionally, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR) knowledge to monitor customer accounts and take necessary action. Perform billing functions as required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Implement collection processes to recover owed funds and reduce company losses. Manage inbound and outbound calls, maintaining a high level of customer service throughout. Use Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze data related to collections. Maintain a professional demeanor during phone and email conversations. Collaborate with the team to optimize collections strategies and improve customer experience. Requirements Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is expected. Prior experience with CRM tools is desirable. Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. Ability to handle answering inbound calls professionally and effectively. Experience in Billing Functions is a must. Understanding and execution of Collection Processes is required. Experience in managing both Inbound and Outbound Calls is essential.
