Role:We are seeking a Production Technician I, responsible for the assembly of various components into finished products. You will also complete final testing and documentation on finished products to ensure that they conform to specifications and quality standards. If you enjoy technical challenges and working with complex systems, this role is perfect for you as we are at a crucial and dynamic point in our product’s evolution. You will participate in the company-wide continuous improvement process, which will have an impact on safety, quality, delivery, and cost. This is a critical role within the organization, working alongside our Production Team on our most advanced technology and pushing the envelope to bring our technology to new levels.You will ideally have a background in mechanical assembly and experience using various metrology equipment. Analytical and problem-solving skills as well as solid time-management, organizational and multitasking skills are important. At times you will work alongside the Manufacturing/Test Engineering teams and learn from motion control experts in a close team environment. The Production Technician role is an exciting way to apply your skills and experience in a hands-on way – putting theory into action.Responsibilities:Assembling product that meets or exceeds our customer’s delivery and performance requirements (in adherence to final inspection reports) in a safe and efficient manner.Assist in the preparation and packaging of finished products for shipment.Pull required material and build assemblies in accordance with indicated specifications per standard operating procedures and/or drawings.Work with written or verbal instructions to assemble products in a timely manner.Participate in 5S to establish, maintain, and continuously improve a clean and safe working environment.Key Requirements:

Experience in mechanical assembly and test; preferably related to precision motion systems or medical devices.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, documentation, etc.

Demonstrated ability of carrying out all acceptance / performance testing as directed to ensure that the final product meets all company and customer performance specification

Experiences/skills that would strengthen your candidacy:

Assembly experience with precision motion systems

Test/Troubleshooting experience with precision motion systems

Basic knowledge in measurement / testing of precision positioning systems and controls
