Calibratesand utilizes basic instrumentation, with the understanding of theunderlying theories; Performingmaintenance of equipment and suggests solutions to problems; Completesall paperwork associated with the analyses in a neat and timely fashion (ex., calibration logs, run logs, etc.); Ensuresthat all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines; Propermanagement of waste generated as a result of analytical procedures; Maintaininga safe working environment that is in compliance with all applicable OSHAregulations as well as all applicable company Health and Safety andCompliance protocols; Worksunder the general direction of more senior members of the laboratory; Trainsless senior members of the laboratory; Performstraining and other aspects of Chemical Hygiene Plan as directed by Supervisor; Reviewsall applicable laboratory SOPs, annually, and scores a satisfactory scoreon SOP quizzes; Adhere to all applicable CHES policies and CHES SOPs; Performsjob functions in compliance with the company standard: CleanCompliance; Responsiblefor supply management in their area of responsibility, including properhousekeeping and best management practices; Performsanalysis of samples following prescribed procedures;What does it taketo work for Clean Harbors? 3+years’ experience in a laboratory setting preferred. ScienceDegree preferred but not required. Previousleadership or senior lab experience is considered an asset. Knowledge in local, state or federal laboratory testing credentials considered anasset. Abilityand willingness to work early morning or afternoon schedule. Understanding of math, chemistry, and chemical testing is preferred.
