Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Warehouse Dispatcher to join our transportation team. The Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating the daily movement of goods, managing driver routes, and ensuring timely and accurate dispatching of shipments. This role is essential to maintaining efficient warehouse operations and delivering excellent service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispatch drivers for deliveries based on route efficiency.
Communicate with drivers, warehouse staff, and management to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor transportation routes and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate delays or changes.
Maintain accurate records of shipments, driver logs, and delivery confirmations.
Use dispatch software and systems to track shipments and update statuses.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and transportation regulations.
Respond promptly to driver inquiries and resolve delivery issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or transportation training is a plus.
Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in dispatch software
Working Conditions:
Day shift: Monday through Saturday with a day off during the week
Warehouse environment.
May require occasional lifting or physical activity.
