Looking for a project manager for our team. The position requires a minimum of 5 years experience in the construction trades. Roofing experience preferred but not required as we can train. Carpentry experience preferred. You are responsible for our roofing projects from start to finish as you meet our clients, maintain quality control, enforce safety, closing out and clearing out job sites. All the take-offs, scheduling and ordering of materials are done for you, so you can concentrate on the completing the work. You are responibile for building permit applications as well. Ultimately your role is to keep our clients satisfied and offer teh best customer service possible.
Your typical day would start at 6:30AM in our office where we review the details of the day's project(s). You'd then meet the crew, coordinate set-up with our clients' input. The rest of the day involves confirming specifications are being followed, tracking stock, finding solutions to problems which may occur and addressing our client's specific roofs needs.
Requirements
5 years in the building trades, but roofing / carpentry preferred.
Valid License and reliable transportation
US Citizen or Green card
Must show strong intiative in solving problems
Self-Motivated
Experience with Microsoft Excel / Word
