We’re seeking a hardworking, detail-oriented Furniture, Art & Frame Shop Assistant / Transport Technician to join our team.

This hands-on, all-around role combines workshop assistance with transporting, installing, and assembling furniture, frames, and artwork for our clients.

Every day is different — you might be sanding or prepping a frame, delivering and installing restored antique furniture, or setting up fine art in a customer’s home. You'll work closely with our restoration and operations team to ensure each piece is handled with craftsmanship, professionalism, and care.

If you enjoy working with your hands, take pride in your work, and want a job that's rewarding and never boring — this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with furniture and frame preparation (sanding, staining, basic repairs) in the workshop

Help with basic furniture assembly and custom frame finishing

Safely pick up, transport, and install fine furniture, artwork, and frames at client locations and shops

Wrap, pad, and secure items carefully for safe movement

Perform onsite installations of artwork and furniture using proper tools and techniques

Maintain a clean, organized workspace and company vehicle

Daily cleaning and organization of workshop, office, and common areas

Empty trash and recyclables, restock supplies, and ensure adequate cleaning materials are available

Communicate courteously and professionally with clients and teammates

Handle every piece with precision, craftsmanship, and pride

What We’re Looking For

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work standing or at heights if needed

Basic woodworking or hand tool skills

Comfortable with hardware/tools for art and furniture installations

Prior experience handling fine furniture, artwork, antiques, or restoration is a plus (but training is available!)

Strong attention to detail and pride in your craftsmanship

Professional appearance and good personal hygiene

Team-focused attitude and a good sense of humor!

What We Offer

Competitive starting pay

Additional opportunities for performance-based incentives

Part-time permanent schedule (no weekends!)

Paid Time Off benefits after 90 days:

o 2 Paid Personal Days per year

o 3 Paid Vacation Days per year

o 2 Paid Sick Days per year

Work closely with a skilled, supportive team

Opportunities to grow your restoration and installation skills

A role that’s different every day — no two projects are the same

The satisfaction of working with beautiful, historic, and meaningful pieces
