Revolution Makerspace is looking for a part-time job manager and instructor. On the job training will be provided. A perk of the job is 24/7 access to the makerspace to work on personal projects. Applicant must be able to lift 40 lbs. Prior experience in carpentry and/or machining is a plus. Hours are likely to be 10-20 hours a week.
Responsibilities
- Provide tool training and testing for new makerspace members
- Give tours for potential members
- Teach classes on how to use the makerspace equipment
- Repair tools and machinery as necessary
- Complete special projects commissioned by customers
- Sweep and clean the makerspace as necessary
- Other tasks as assigned
