Your Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Dorchester, MA. This is a full-time opportunity in the property maintenance field at a multi-site portfolio of residential properties. You will join a team of maintenance professionals whose responsibilities include:
Performing in-unit repairs, preventative maintenance, and unit turnovers.
Completing work orders, including light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry work.
Providing access to contractors and inspectors, as needed.
Performing groundskeeping, general building maintenance, and maintenance of exterior and common areas.
The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm with on-call duties shared on rotation.
Your Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service philosophy.
Knowledge of general apartment repair, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC is preferred.
Experience with Yardi or other work order systems is also a plus.
This position includes participation in the emergency on-call rotation and snow removal.
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
