Horvitz Plumbing, LLC has proudly served the Greater Boston area since 1932. We’re a family-run company known for outstanding service and workmanship, and we’re looking to add an experienced HVAC Technician to our growing team.
About the Role We’re seeking a skilled technician with a strong background in HVAC service and maintenance. You’ll diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and light commercial systems—and occasionally assist with basic plumbing tasks. Ideal candidates are customer-focused, detail-oriented, and take pride in high-quality work.
Responsibilities
· Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems
· Perform routine inspections and maintenance
· Install or replace HVAC components (motors, compressors, etc.)
· Handle minor plumbing tasks as needed
· Communicate clearly with customers and maintain service records
· Represent the company with professionalism and care
Qualifications
· 3+ years of HVAC service/maintenance experience
· EPA Certification required; NATE preferred
· Basic plumbing skills a plus
· Strong diagnostic and customer service skills
· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
· Able to lift 50 lbs and work in tight spaces
