Field Service Technicians who support Metro’s HVAC Water Treatment business benefit from their past Trades experience, while enjoying a less physically demanding role that’s a regular Monday thru Friday gig. 40 hours guaranteed every week, weekly pay checks, no on-call requirement, no required overtime, no lay-offs; just steady, reliable, satisfying work.

Field Service Technicians get a take home service vehicle with a gas card, so no commuting expense. You have the autonomy to get the job done with flexibility in your schedule. We provide all the training and support you will need to learn our trade, so no prior experience is necessary, but once learned, you will have earned a valuable skill set.

In addition to competitive starting pay, Field Service Technicians earn commissions and bonuses, and overtime is always available for those who want it, providing more opportunities to increase compensation. Successful Technicians who learn the trade can pursue further training, certifications, licenses, and career paths including sales, technology and management.

Role and Responsibilities

- Responsible for service/testing/sampling of heating and cooling systems

- Apply and manage chemicals needed to treat systems

- Provide and report any feedback of findings to the Service/Account Manager

- Complete required information on service orders

- Operate company vehicle to commute among job sites throughout the shift

Qualifications and Requirements:

- Proof of a valid driver's license, in good standing

- Reliable, self-starter displaying a consistent work history

- Attention to detail and highly customer-focused

- Mechanical aptitude

- Strong desire for long-term employment and industry training & development

- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
