Immediate opening for a Building Maintenance Tech for a Manufacturing company in Billerica!
As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will join our Facilities Department. reporting to the Building Operations Manager, you will be responsible for adhering to established maintenance schedules and guidelines, conducting inspections, repairing facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
Responsibilities:
● Utilize the work order management system to receive and complete reactive repair Work
Orders
● Inspecting and operating, facilities equipment to repair or diagnose issues
● Executing routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of properties
● Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
● Comply with all safety regulations and procedures
● Assisting with furniture and equipment relocations.
● Assist the Maintenance staff with all related tasks as needed
Qualifications
● At least two years of verifiable experience (three or more highly desirable) maintaining
various building systems in a large commercial facility
● Valid Driver’s License
● Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, prints, tables, charts and operating
manuals
● Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
● Physically capable of using aerial lifts and ladders to a height of thirty feet
● Trade experience preferred
● Keep computerized records and prepare reports. Access employee related computer software (email, work planning, time-keeping) at an effective proficiency level
