We are currently seeking a part-time experienced Diesel Mechanic to work 1 - 2 weekday evenings from 6 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Saturdays.

Job Overview:

The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for repair and maintenance of diesel trucks, tractors, trailers and hydraulic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform required repairs on diesel trucks, tractors, trailers and hydraulic equipment

Conduct scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) on vehicles

Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues; repair, replace brakes, air systems, electrical, suspension, air conditioning, etc.

Familiar with Diagnostic Tablet/scan tools

Complete repair/Preventative Maintenance worksheets for Fleet Manager

Maintain cleanliness in the shop area

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications:

1 – 3 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic

Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record

Proficient in mechanics with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair

Must be self-motivated, ability to work autonomously with no supervision

Ability to complete work order and assigned tasks in a timely manner

Ability to work 1 – 2 weekday evenings from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday schedule required
