We are looking for a Carpenter with 3-4 years experience as a Carpenter(not any other trade) to work on residential construction projects throughout the Metro west area. An ideal candidate is someone who can uphold our high standard of craftsmanship and professionalism. We are looking for a self starter, someone who takes pride in what they do. We are a growing company with work contracted a year or more in advance. There is the possibility of a company vehicle after working for us for a time period and proving yourself dedicated.
Responsibilities:
-Work with the other carpenters through a project.
-Must be able to read and interpret plans and complex architectural details
-Must be able to do material take offs
-Proficient in framing both new construction and remodeling
-Experience installing cabinetry
-Experience with millwork installation including crown moulding
-Ability to Install windows and doors
-Experience with all types of wood siding and traditional wood exteriors.
-Ability to use all types of carpentry tools
-Must work well with others and be able to communicate clearly
-Must have hand-tools and tool belt. Must have all handheld carpentry power tools. Chop saws, table saws, compressors and other large tools will be supplied by the company. A van or truck is a plus but not required.
-Must have drivers license and vehicle.
-A clean driving record as you will be required to drive a company truck from time to time.
-We work in peoples homes, sometimes occupied and sometimes empty. You must present professionally.
-Ability to lift and carry items up to 80lbs for extended periods of time
-Must be comfortable working off ladders and at heights
-Drug and alcohol free at work.
-Spanish speaking is a huge plus, however decent is english a must have!
-This is a payroll position. You must have the proper documents for us to pay you properly.

Salary: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
