Performance Plus Auto Body is a trusted auto body repair shop committed to delivering top-quality service. We are looking for a self-sufficient and skilled Auto Body Appraiser to join our team.
The Auto Body Appraiser will independently inspect vehicles, assess damage, and prepare accurate repair estimates. This role also includes assisting with general office tasks to support daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect vehicles and provide accurate repair cost estimates.
- Collaborate with insurance adjusters and technicians.
- Assist clients with questions about repairs and costs.
- Handle general office duties like phone calls, scheduling, filing, and data entry.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Work efficiently with minimal supervision, ensuring quality and timeliness in all tasks.
Requirements
- Valid auto body appraiser license.
- Experience in vehicle appraisals and auto body repair processes.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Office administration experience (phone, filing, data entry).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Self-sufficient and able to manage tasks independently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Preferred:
- Experience with estimating software (e.g., CCC ONE, Mitchell).
- Prior customer service experience.
