We’re currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Damage Appraiser with hands-on experience estimating repairs in an auto body shop environment.

As an Shop Auto Damage Appraiser, you will be responsible for inspecting vehicle damage, preparing accurate estimates, and collaborating with customers, repair teams, and insurance partners to ensure a smooth and transparent claims process. Your background in a body shop will be vital to understanding repair methods, labor times, and part sourcing, as well as daily production collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicles for collision damage, both in person and via photos (as needed)

Prepare comprehensive repair estimates using estimating software (CCC One)

Communicate repair details with customers, technicians, and insurance adjusters

Recommend repair procedures based on OEM and industry standards

Negotiate repair costs when appropriate with insurance representatives

Document all findings and updates in a timely and organized manner

Maintain strong knowledge of collision repair standards and practices

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of experience in an auto damage estimating or body shop role

Proficiency in estimating platforms (CCC, Mitchell, or similar)

Solid understanding of vehicle construction and repair techniques

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

I-CAR certification or ASE certification in damage analysis

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Prior experience working with insurance carriers
