The Test Executor will work as a key member of our multidisciplinary teams to test, set up testing infrastructure and maintain our robots. This role will support all aspects of robot operation (primarily indoor).This will include preparing robots for daily testing, operating video cameras, communicating with engineers and technicians about the status of the robots and setting up props for daily testing. There will be a strong labor component to this job.
Day to day activities:
● Operating robots and making written or typed observations of performance.
● Communicating with engineers, following their instruction on how to run robot tests and reporting results via text and/or video.
● Set up test environments, including cameras, safety fencing, and pallets.
● Maintain operations equipment (hand/power tools, lifting equipment) or coordinate with vendors for maintenance.
● Present robot demonstrations to potential customers and other high level visitors.
● Stacking or handling boxes up to 50lbs.
Required Skills:
● Technical Skills:
○ Aptitude for diverse user interfaces (keyboards, game controllers, etc.) and swift adoption of new technologies.
○ Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Outlook/Gmail, and shared network drives.
○ Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
○ Experience with hand and power tools.
○ Basic understanding of foundational science concepts
○ Aptitude for quickly grasping and applying new terminology, acronyms, and technical jargon

Preferred skills:
● Prior experience with Google Workspace
● Prior experience with forklifts, scissor lifts, and walkie stackers
● Previous experience testing finished products for defects, debug failures and anomalies
● Prior experience with graphics programs such as the Adobe Suite or similar
● Prior experience with design concepts and visual communication
Travel & Transportation:
● Reliable transportation is required for this position.
