Responsibilities
- Provide hair styling services to clients, including cutting, coloring, and styling hair
- Offer advice and recommendations to clients on hair care and styling techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in hair styling and beauty industry
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
- Collaborate with other salon staff to create a positive and professional work environment
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license
- Proven experience as a hair stylist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of hair cutting, coloring, and styling techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Basic understanding of retail math for product sales
- Familiarity with color theory for hair coloring services
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to actively listen to clients' needs and preferences
