Our client, a top investment bank, is looking for a Technical Product Manager to join their growing team. This person should have been a software engineer/developer in the past.
Responsibilities:• Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems.• Partner with business users to gather and validate requirements and develop detailed specifications and designs.• Provides technical assistance in identifying and evaluating system impacts during conception and elaboration phases.• Interact with internal and external technical leaders to develop innovative solutions that meet business needs• Analyze business and technical requirements to determine system design, potential issues, and, impact analysis for each project• Define detailed functional specifications required to satisfy business requirements for programs, projects, and releases• Participate in the entire SDLC and interface with product managers , architecture , development and QA teams• Interact with internal and external technical leaders to develop innovative solutions that meet business needsTop Skills Details:1. Technical Product Management experience for customer facing applications, acting as a true owner of the products from end-to-end. This person is going to be responsible or meeting with the business and technical teams to understand that wants and needs for mission critical and customer facing applications. This person is going to be the true owner of the production environment to ensure that the commitments to the business are being met.2. SDLC experience - not just working to understand the requirements of the business, but driving that vision through all phases of development & test into production, contributing to technical discussions with leadership. This person MUST HAVE Experience working with technical teams. This person needs to be able to work directly with development teams to understand what technical requirements may look like and have an opinion on the development, and ensure that is it done as the vision in which has been created. This person must be technical enough to utilize simple SQL queries to navigate databases, be able to understand webservices and its inputs and outputs.3.
