Position: QA Director

Location: Boston, MA

Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Well renowned in the US and globally, this business boasts a $600M turnover and 30+ offices worldwide which service their large customer base. They have a new, exciting opening for a QA Director to be based out of their Boston headquarters.

They need someone who has previous experience leading, mentoring, and building Software Tester/QA teams. As the Director of QA, you will be directly responsible for a small-medium sized team including their personal and technical development. You will also manage the test schedules and strategies, ensuring delivery dates are adhered to.

This will be a busy, fast paced role with a lot of freedom to implement your own ideas, ultimately, helping the team and its operations succeed.

Key Duties: Reviewing, improving, and managing the strategy and execution of automation and manual testing Overseeing data and email testing tasks for consumer-facing websites Managing, building, mentoring, and motivating an agile team of 16 Testers/QA Team members (in person for US and remotely for overseas) Reviewing existing processes, tools, and practices. Implementing any required changes to improve efficiency Managing and delivering key projects Measuring and reporting quality-related metrics to identify trends

Experience they are looking for: Hands-on background in Quality Assurance/Testing (Automation and Manual) SDLC tools/processes - source control, release control, change control, automated build solutions Technical management experience within Quality Assurance/Testing Data testing experience on public/consumer websites Proven experience improving website quality and traffic Agile, Scrum, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment Cross Browser and Cross Device testing Integrating/growing automation coverage into existing manual test processes Strategy and process review; improvement and implementation of new ideas
