Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Principal Software Architect to spearhead our new Software Development Services SBU. In this role, you will serve as the lead developer, responsible for overseeing all client projects, ranging from application development to API creation and integration services. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, identify technical solutions, and develop comprehensive plans to fulfill their needs. Additionally, as our SBU expands, you will have the opportunity to lead and manage small development teams, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of client projects within the Software Development Services SBU, encompassing a variety of software solutions including web and mobile applications, APIs, and integrations.
Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, identify technical options, and present solutions tailored to their needs.
Develop technical plans and strategies to execute client projects, including the identification of additional resources required.
Manage and mentor small development teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, adapting to different technology stacks as needed.
Work closely with leadership to develop pricing and proposals for client projects, based on the technical solutions identified.
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit and willingness to work in a small team environment, contributing to the growth and success of the SBU.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of five years of previous experience as a software engineer and developer, with a focus on architecting and implementing complex software solutions.
Strong proficiency in a variety of technology stacks, with demonstrated experience in AI-related development projects, including but not limited to Python, cloud computing platforms such as Azure and AWS, Java, and JavaScript.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving innovation and solving complex technical challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.jsCSS: Sass, LESS
Databases: SQL (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
API Frameworks: Spring Boot, Express.js
Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
Serverless: AWS Lambda, Azure Functions
Machine Learning Libraries: TensorFlow, PyTorch
DS Tools: Jupyter, Pandas DevOps: Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines
PM Tools: Jira, MS SharePoint, Trello.
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and project management tools.
Certifications in relevant technologies or platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect).
