Formaggio Kitchen is a unique gourmet food shop in Cambridge. For more than 40 years, we have hand-selected the finest artisan products from Europe and North America, including small production cheeses, charcuterie, hand made sweets, rare spices, pantry staples, natural wines, craft beers, and freshly baked breads from local bakeries. We are looking for a front of house shift lead to work as a cashier and oversee the daily tasks as a supervisor.

As a Supervisor you will also be required to:
- Handle customer complaints, returns, requests
- Recognize what needs to be done/stocked in each part of the store. Compile a list of tasks and delegate.
- Understand and enforce store policies.
- Be able to react calmly in emergency situations.
- Open the shop in the morning and/or close the shop at night.
- Follow accurate money handling procedures.
This is currently a part-time position, with more shifts available in the fall. Applicants must be friendly and hard working. Preference is for full weekend availability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of retail or restaurant experience with supervisory responsibilities
- Extensive food knowledge and a thirst for learning
- Exemplary customer service
