Property Manager Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of commercial and residential rental properties. We are looking for a super organized person with a can-do attitude that is effective at completing tasks.

The qualified candidate will require an all-round knowledge of the leasing process from marketing & viewing and to day-to-day management.

Property Manager Duties and Responsibilities

Acquisitions: Support monitoring and management of real estate investments from initial close though disposition. Gather market information for new projects, contacting brokers, appraisers, developers to present to corporate leaders.

Site Visits: updating notice boards, contractor records, checking standards, property inspections, fire safety and health and safety records.

Repairs management: Booking and liaising with contractors for maintenance issues,

process repair request, set priority, raise work orders, authorize repairs and invoices, check repairs undertaken. Contractor invoicing and accounts payable.

Compliance management: manager fire risk assessment, health and safety records, organizing contractors, conduct annual reviews.

Tenant Management: conducting viewings, processing property applications, referencing prospective tenants, conducting check ins & check outs, dealing with deposit releases, lease preparation, arrange and carry out property inspections with tenants.

Maintenance Contracts: manage maintenance contracts.

Travel: The role is officed based with some travel to all property locations and vendor locations as needed

Meetings: attend and report at leadership meetings

Client Reporting: prepare and send regular client reports

Full Time: Occasional evening and weekend work will be required when meetings or showings must be arranged outside of office hours.

Salary: - up to 90K

Education: Bachelor's Business/Administration, Accounting Preferred or work-related experience in Bookkeeping Real Estate, Business. Proficient Excel, Microsoft Office, Quick books
