Our client, a university located in Boston, is seeking a program manager. This is a temporary opportunity and can compensate up to $30/hr. depending on experience. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration!Qualifications:Knowledge and skills typically gained through a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in academic or non-profit administration or related fields.Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion, with proven ability to work effectively with diverse groups of students, staff, and faculty.Proficiency in administrative tasks using Microsoft software (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, To Do) and other tools for organization, coordination, and task management.Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate with stakeholders, and communicate effectively in dynamic environments.Responsibilities:Provide centralized administrative support for CPIs, including budget and expense tracking, contract/invoice/reimbursement requests, and room bookings.Oversee communications, including drafting/editing newsletters, maintaining contact databases, and managing information dissemination.Manage student hiring and supervision and provide additional administrative support as needed while liaising with other departments for efficient communication.Assist with event planning and logistics, including room reservations, vendor coordination, and contract/invoice submission.Coordinate event-related tasks, such as securing caterers, managing speaker reimbursements, and handling on-site registration and event breakdown.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
