Our client, a synagogue located in the Greater Boston area, is seeking an Operations Manager to join their team on a temporary to hire basis. The hours for this role are 9am to 5pm, and it is compensating $28-$33 an hour, depending on experience. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration.Responsibilities:Facility & Security Management: In conjunction with the Facilities and Security Director, supervise facilities and security, oversee building maintenance, and manage vendor relationships.Event Logistics & Planning: Manage EMS (Event Management System) setups, develop and update floor plans, and ensure operational readiness for synagogue services, programs, and special events. Coordinate with clergy, staff, and lay leaders to ensure seamless execution of events.High Holiday Ticketing & Logistics: Organize and oversee the High Holiday ticketing process, including seating arrangements, security protocols, and communications with congregants.Risk & Compliance: Maintain Certificates of Insurance and ensure compliance with synagogue policies, safety regulations, and risk management requirements. Oversee security measures and protocols in partnership with security personnel.Internal Training & Staff Support: Develop and coordinate internal staff training, including security protocols, emergency preparedness, and operational best practices.Technology & IT Support: Manage IT subscriptions and support staff with technology needs related to synagogue operations.
