Our client, a higher education institution in the Boston area, is seeking an Office Coordinator to join their team! This role is onsite, working 40 hours a week for about three months, from 10/28 to 1/24. This position does have the opportunity to turn permanent, consisting of an array of duties such as front office reception, email management, and calendar support. This role is compensating up to $37 an hour depending on experience. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today!Responsibilities:Front office reception dutiesServing as principal contact and source of information for customers of the office including faculty, students, staff, and external people.The Office Assistant will play a key role in the front suite by welcoming guests to the Dean's Office, answering the phone, receiving mail.Email managementReviewing, routing, answering, and monitoring follow up actions on email correspondence.Calendar and travel supportSupport of the Dean's calendar such as confirmations and securing advance materials; potentially supporting travel coordination; assist teams with weekly and daily calendar review for missing information or errors; may also work with Senior EA in other capacities.Meeting supportSecure and set up meeting space; arrange and support Zoom meetings as needed; arranging catering orders; may attend meetings by Zoom or in person to provide logistical support.Records managementCreating, managing, and updating records.
