Our client, a venture capital firm located in Boston, is seeking a marketing assistant. This is a temporary opportunity and can compensate up to $30/hr. depending on experience. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration!Responsibilities:Gathering Website Assets: Collect logos, company images, portfolio descriptions, quotes, and other relevant assets from approximately 250 portfolio companies.Portfolio Categorization: Go through our portfolio companies and categorize them by sector, stage invested, location, portfolio description, etc.Team Bio Updates: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that each team member's current bio and professional details are up to date for inclusion on the new website.Data Organization: Organize and track the collected assets in a clear and accessible manner, ensuring they are ready for website integration.Communication: Reach out to portfolio companies and internal team members as needed to gather or clarify information, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the data.Documentation: Maintain detailed records of the progress and status of asset collection, keeping the team informed and ensuring nothing is overlooked.Qualifications:Currently enrolled in a degree program, preferably in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Comfortable with basic digital tools and software (Google Suite, Microsoft Office, etc.)Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) or website design processes is a plus, but not required.Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
