Our client a medical device manufacturer, is seeking a temporary Junior Project Manager to join their team! This role is onsite in Boston, full time hours Monday through Friday, temporary for approximately three months, and paying between $32-35/hr. Interested and qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today!RESPONSIBILITIESServe as Point of Contact for assigned Life Science Project Management tasks and accountsFollow Relocation strategy and make sure timelines are on track with critical project deliverablesFollow Inventory management strategy that aligns with each site's specific requirementsBe organized and own accountability on assigned Project deadlinesFollow through on daily Project Management tasks, including vendor escorting, coordinating vendors etc.Coordinate with the project team to ensure the move schedule aligns with the completion of construction and other milestonesFollow roadmap allowing for site readiness for each piece of equipment in scopeManage the master equipment & supplies inventory list for each project assignedPlan, manage, and execute the decontamination, decommissioning, packing/crating, recommissioning of existing lab equipment, computerized systems & supplies + installation & commissioning of new lab equipment (final scope TBD) as assignedEnsure compliance with quality standards and financial plans for the move for assigned projectsSupport other Project Managers in escorting, quoting, inventory, tagging any other tasks as needed to complete projects on timeWhile in-between lab relocation projects, this role will support strategic operations initiatives & other projects including:Help establish and identify the most efficient methods of relocation, inventory management and Project ManagementBring innovation to the business: innovative ideas, risk assessments, plans for helping the business achieve increases profits across Life SciencesTeam with Regional Directors, Account Managers, and other employees to identify improvement opportunities from ground level up and track/ownQualifications:Project management experience (PMP preferred)Ability to multitask and self-motivateRelocation project management experience (preferred)MS Project knowledgeLab equipment exposureUnderstanding of how to manage vendorsProven ability to develop or adhere to a project planAttention to detail Experience talking with customersCommunicate timing and activities to project stakeholdersAbility to problem solve dynamically Obtain quotes and invoices from vendors Schedule vendors according to customer needsEscort and manage 3rd party vendors deinstalling, reinstalling, and moving equipment in lab settingsManage engineers to complete relocation activitiesEducation/Special Skills:B.S.
