Our client, a university located in Boston, MA, is seeking a Grants Administrator to join their team on a temporary, to potentially permanent, basis. This role is compensating up to $50 an hour, depending on experience. Qualified and interested candidates are encouraged to apply today.Job Duties: Monitoring and forecasting of all restricted (Gifts and Endowments) and unrestricted accounts.Supports sponsored research projects.Assists with preparation and submission of grant and other funding applications, data collection, post award administration of sponsored research projects, and financial reporting as needed.Prepares and submits disbursement requests, invoices, shopping carts, requisitions, honoraria, student payroll, and travel reimbursements.Coordinates the annual financial aid and fellowship awards by collecting and organizing applications and tracking applicant data in service to the Financial Aid Committee.Coordinates logistics for events, including marketing, guest travel accommodations, catering, room reservation and setup.Manages purchasing of all supplies, educational materials, and equipment.Coordinates with program and faculty to schedule classes, book classrooms, coordinate student evaluations, and other activities related to the academic offering of the center.Maintains facilities in coordination with the regulations and provides facilities planning on routine maintenance issues and IT needs in offices, classrooms, and community spaces.Manages website to ensure content remains up to date, including staff, faculty, and research affiliate lists, and creates website content including event announcements, event highlights, faculty news, and announcements of research and funding opportunities.Maintains social media accounts; corresponds with academic units and student groups; works with staff to promote courses, language courses, and programs to community; and manages the marketing, publicizing, planning, and scheduling of lectures, conferences, and other events.Job Requirements:B.A./B.S. required.Three to five years in higher education, and/or project management.Grant management experience required.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.Strong verbal and written communications skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.Requires flexibility and adaptability to new technology in a changing environment and a baseline understanding of project management phases, techniques, and tools.Familiarity with SAP/Concur, managing social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).Ability to prioritize multiple projects and work well under pressure in a fast paced, rapidly evolving environment.Beacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
