Carlysle Engineering is seeking a construction administrator to support the fire protection design group. The administrator is responsible for managing the administrative aspects of the fire protection design group.
Key responsibilities of a construction administrator may include:
Material Submittal
Preparing, submitting and tracking project material submittals.
Permitting
Assist in preparing, submitting and tracking permit applications.
Document control:
Obtaining and Maintaining project documentation such as project drawings, specifications, submittals, permits, test certificates and closeout documents.
Client communication:
Maintaining regular communication with clients, addressing concerns, and providing project updates.
Skills and qualifications for a construction administrator:
Strong understanding of construction processes and documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented and high accuracy in data management.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in web-based construction management software.
Knowledge of construction industry practices and regulations.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
3-5 years’ experience in the construction industry preferred.
