Bilingual Spanish Research Assistant

Our client, a university in Boston, is looking for a temporary Bilingual Spanish Research Assistant to join their team for a 3 month contract. This role compensates $22/hr. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply!Essential Functions:Traveling to sites to post flyers, making screening calls to determine eligibility, and scheduling and completing study assessments, either over the phone or in person.Responsibilities also include assisting with data collection, scoring, and entry, monitoring the participant log and scheduled visits, and coordinating and disbursing payment procedures for participants.RAs may also conduct qualitative interviews and will assist with transcribing and coding data using NVivo.Other responsibilities include helping to coordinate updates to the study team website and assisting with grant progress reports and applications.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:Bilingual Spanish Ability to work and communicate effectively with culturally diverse individuals.Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to work on a team.Comfortable working with diverse issues related to substance use, mental health, health disparities, and cultural diversity.1-3 years of related/research experience, excellent attention to detail requiredAbility to work with a diverse group of individuals and to work effectively as part of a team as well as independentlyExcellent verbal and communication skillsTechnological fluency with Microsoft Office SuiteBeacon Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values the strength diversity brings to the workplace.
