Innovation Academy Athletic Department is looking for a part time office assistant to help with the organization and day-to-day administrative tasks of the department. Candidates should be hard-working, professional, and able to undertake a wide range of tasks. Candidates should be able to work consistently and productively under pressure. This is a part-time position, 20-25 hours/week. Candidates should ideally be available to work 2-6 pm Monday-Friday, but the position does offer some flexibility if needed. This is an hourly position which will pay $12.75/hour.
General responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Typing a variety of material such as letters, reports and memos
- Maintaining a regular filing system for Athletic Director and the Athletic Department
- Processing incoming correspondence via both mail and department e-mail
- Assisting with ordering and maintenance of office supplies as needed
- Helping to maintain and issue uniforms
- Helping to maintain and order equipment
- Performing book-keeping tasks associated with the department such as ticket sales (if needed), team entry fees, and athletic fees
- Maintaining a schedule of appointments and makes arrangements for conferences and interviews (as instructed)
- Helping to maintain and archive statistics
- Helping to maintain and update athletic website
- Assisting with all office paperwork, including online registration through LeagueToolBox and FamilyID
- Assisting with game management as needed
- Assisting with bus scheduling and official scheduling
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Google Spreadsheets
- High level of organization and time management skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Background in athletics, in any capacity, is preferred but not required.
