Assistant Property Manager Job Responsibilities:
Assists in managing all aspects of a building’s occupancy and maintenance.
Communicates with tenants regarding property-related issues.
Assists with the completion of interim and annual recertifications
Coordinates with tenants and third parties to address maintenance and facility needs.
Collaborate & Creates advertising materials for property as directed.
Meets with prospective tenants to show properties, conduct interviews, receive rental applications and explain terms of occupancy.
Processes applications and conducts credit checks.
Coordinates with outside vendors to arrange for trash removal, maintenance, landscaping, security and other services.
Ensure that property is maintained in a clean, safe and attractive manner always
Investigates and helps to resolve complaints, disturbances and violations.
Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing other related tasks as needed.
Assistant Property Manager Qualifications/Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and highly organized
Strong customer service skills
Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
Solid understanding of anti-discrimination housing laws
Previous experience in property management preferred – If not we will train
Strong Computer Skills – Microsoft Suit
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Spanish Speaking – a Must
Hours: In person - Monday to Friday 8:00a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
