Family Advocates - Young Parent Programs - Chelsea, Lynn, + Melrose

Overview:As a key member of our one of our Young Parent Living Programs (YPLPs), the Family Advocate supports young families in a residential setting through daily engagement, case management, and crisis response. Advocates ensure a safe, structured environment while teaching positive coping strategies and supporting families’ progress toward stability and independence.Key Responsibilities:Provide direct care, crisis support, and teach life skills to resident families.Manage a caseload of up to 4 families, including documentation of goals, assessments, and treatment plans.Maintain safety and order in the facility through regular supervision, room checks, medication administration, and behavior management.Document all interactions, incidents, and progress notes accurately and on time.Facilitate transportation, appointments, and access to community resources.Promote a healthy, respectful environment by modeling positive communication and relationships.Participate in regular training, team meetings, and staff development.Overnight shifts require hourly safety checks and readiness to respond to any needs.Qualifications:High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferred.Experience working with youth or in residential programs.Strong communication, organizational, and crisis management skills.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.Must pass required trainings and participate in ongoing professional development.Interested?
