Position Summary:Available Shifts:- Fri - Sat 11pm - 7am (Part-time, 16 hrs)- Tues - Thurs 11pm - 7am (Part-time, 24 hrs)Direct Care staff at Centerboard’s Youth Service Campus are key members of the treatment team, ensuring a safe, structured, and trauma-informed environment for youth. They support daily living activities, implement behavior management techniques, and teach healthier coping skills. Responsibilities include documentation, crisis management, and facilitating life skills. The role requires active engagement with youth, teamwork, and adherence to policies and procedures.Essential Functions:Document shift information, including progress notes, incident reports, and communication logs.Respond to crises using Behavior Management Techniques.Maintain resident safety, security, and program compliance.Advocate for youth through meetings and treatment plans.Support daily activities: transportation, appointments, chores, and more.Prepare meals and oversee facility cleanliness.Administer medication as required and conduct room searches.Coordinate with team members, nurses, and supervisors for resident care.Ensure safety during fire drills and field trips.Participate in training and community engagement activities.Qualifications:High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree or some college preferred).Experience working with youth or in a residential setting.Strong communication, organizational skills, and a valid driver’s license.Commitment to multicultural awareness, diversity, and inclusion.Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.This is a dynamic role requiring a commitment to youth development, safety, and well-being.
