Educate Park enthusiasts about the history of Faneuil Hall and the National Park Service mission. Serve as a friendly and knowledgeable ambassador for America's National Parks, providing exceptional customer service. This is an hourly part-time position at our store in Faneuil Hall in Boston, MA. The starting pay is $18 an hour.

Responsibilities:

Create experiences where all team members and visitors feel respected, appreciated, and rewarded.

Build rapport and make a genuine connection with the visitor through exceptional customer service.

Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging visitors.

Thrive in a fast-paced environment and love connecting with people from all walks of life.

Navigate complex topics with sensitivity and respect.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.

Ability to maintain prompt and regular attendance.

Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others.

Assist visitors with product selection and offer complementary products.

Operate cash register by processing appropriate tenders and maintaining accurate cash register records.

Provide Park information to visitors of the park.

Maintain a safe and appealing store environment while supporting America’s National Parks mission.

Restock the sales floor while following visual merchandising guidelines and help create visual displays. This includes lifting boxes weighing up to 15 pounds to a shelf height of 5 feet and may require standing for long periods of time to include bending, squatting, and reaching.

Participate in the inventory management process and spot check counts as directed by management.

May open and close the store independently.
