We have a fantastic team with low turnover in part because we treat people the right way-with respect-and give them opportunities to grow and learn new skills. If your current employer leaves you feeling underappreciated or lacks opportunities, we are the opposite. We operate in a fast paced environment with intense focus on producing quality product that we are proud to ship to our customers-products that help save lives.

As a contract manufacturer, we produce a high variety of products. Therefore, you should be comfortable with problem solving when it comes to setting up manufacturing equipment that will need adjustments as each job changes over to the next one. You do not need to have experience running any of our specific types of equipment but you do need to have patience and a high aptitude for solving “puzzles” when you encounter a challenging job.

Basic Responsibilities:

Manufacture medical grade stainless steel tubing using specialized machinery including draw blocks, draw benches, swagers (end formers) and straighteners.

Setup straightener machines to produce in-specification product.

Set up centerless grinding machines to produce in-specification product.

Manage multiple machines and monitor product throughout production runs, including appropriate dimensional sampling and visual inspections.

Complete all required paperwork on job traveler.

Retrieve metal tubing from inventory. Measure with micrometers, inspect and count product.

Be able to self-manage time and responsibilities to ensure parts that need to be completed that day are completed on time.

Qualities we're looking for:

Positive, can-do attitude. Non negotiable.

Solid work ethic-nothing "below" him or her.

Excellent attention to detail. Quality minded-notice the small things. A quality background can be very helpful.

This is one of our positions that requires the most attention to detail.

Dexterity/hand skills. Not afraid to get dirty.

Basic familiarity with computers (to scan barcodes on completed work tickets, look up records if needed etc.).

Ability to apply a concept learned on one job to other, slightly different jobs down the road.

High problem solving aptitude.

Able to lift up to 50# unassisted.

Hours/benefits:

Flexible hours (after training), anywhere from 7A to 6P.

45-50 hours a week (OT included).

Eligible for 16 days of PTO plus 10 paid holidays, health insurance through Aetna and annual bonus program.

Pay $18-22/hr commensurate with experience.

We're looking for a long term hire.

High degree of autonomy after training period and demonstrating your capability.

Location: South Natick, MA
