Shipping Techs:
Interpret the Dangerous Goods Manual for the use of the correct UN Label and Packing
Fully understand Packing Instruction 620 (2814), 650 (3373), and UN 3335 for infectious
Prepare documents for shipping with FedEx Domestically.
Use of the FedEx system.
Ship using dry ice.
Properly prepare shipping boxes and labels.
Pack and ship materials to trade shows upon request.
Perform CAP shipping- domestic and international.
Perform CAP reships and additional material.
Perform CAP bulk shipments to freight forwarders with proper documentation.
Perform CAP dry ice shipments.
Perform XDS packaging using clamshells
Assemblers:
Assist in bottling and packaging of products
Operate laboratory equipment including pipettes, balances, pH meters, centrifuges, etc. in a safe
and effective manner
Work with Supervisor and Production Technicians to perform routine laboratory tasks
Use and maintenance of computer databases (i.e. inventories, schedules, etc.).
Complete manufacturing documents as necessary.
Critical thinking skills related to production equipment used for automated packaging, sorting,
washing, cutting, taping, labeling, counting, and assembly of CP products
Meet and/or exceed production metric standards while maintaining a focus on quality
Ensure work area and equipment are maintained in a clean and orderly condition
A vision for safety and the ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
Perform related calibration and maintenance duties as required by the supervisor
Assist in bottle washing and cleaning
Perform monthly inventory on packaging materials
Learn and perform proper handling of hazardous materials
Other duties as assigned
