Duties:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal professionals
- Organize and maintain legal documents, files, and records
- Utilize Practice management systems to store and retrieve files
- Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
- Transcribe dictations and prepare memos, letters, and other written materials
- Assist with data entry and record keeping tasks (billing)
- Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing calendars
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Follow office procedures and protocols
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using practice management systems and other office software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to transcribe accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of Massachusetts court system
- Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy of legal documents
-Experience with e-filing
Experience with Clio a plus
Experience with Summary Process a plus
-Experience with MS Office and Adobe
