Job Description
First Step Staffing is looking for Seasonal Warehouse & Fruit Kitchen helpers to start April 28th in the Canton area, who will be responsible for the loading or unloading of supplies from all delivery trucks, checking in of all flowers that are delivered every week, putting away of all supplies., and helping in the fruit kitchen. The warehouse employees will also keep all areas of the facility clean and safe from any debris. They need to be flexible and be willing to drive when needed.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Must be able to stand for an extend period
The cooler must be kept clean and organized
Capable of working under pressure and good organizational skills.
Good Communicational skill necessary.
Must be Flexible and willing to work longer hours during Holidays and on weekends.
Make sure that facility and restrooms are kept clean and organized.
Assist in other departments when necessary
Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to lift up to 50lbs.
Able to work in hot and cold temps for extended periods of time.
Able work on one’s feet for long periods of time.
Good attention to detail.
Good math skills.
Able to receive and give directions to get the job completed.
Floral/florist experience a plus.
Bi-lingual a plus.
Able to work flexible/additional hours and weekends during Holidays and peak seasons.
