Simply Miraculous Fine Gardening is small gardening company looking for experienced detail oriented fine gardeners for the upcoming 2024 season. Our primary focus is maintaining, creating exceptional garden beds and performing specialized hand pruning of various ornamental shrubs and small trees. Also, we install seasonal color, create/maintain planters, and dabble with some holiday outdoor décor.
Currently, we have a waiting list for individuals who wish to obtain our services.
Our season has already begun. We usually wind down by Thanksgiving week.
Field work schedule is Monday through Thursday 7:15am-3:00-3:30pm.
Fridays are used as a makeup rain day or yard area/tool organization time hen necessary. (Fridays are not mandatory)
We currently service the Hingham Area with occasional visits to other towns for a full day pruning and garden visit.
LEAD HEAD GARDENER REQUIRED QUAILIFICATIONS
Have a positive attitude, be reliable and flexible when necessary.
Be able to communicate clearly with customers, as well as gardeners when servicing clients properties.
Ability to lead your gardening team on industry standard gardening practices.
Must have perennial and shrub identification knowledge.
Have experience with various pruning styles for different types of ornamental shrubs and small trees.
Be able to spot insect and disease issues in the landscape they are assigned to service and bring to the attention of company owner.
Be familiar with tools used to perform necessary for “fine” gardening tasks.
Upon arrival at a property, you must be able to assess what needs to be done and delegate tasks to the gardeners assigned to you. Instruction may be necessary from time to time.
Complete tasks assigned with your team of gardeners in the allotted time given for each client per visit.
Before each days shifts end, the Head Lead Gardener needs to records job details and tally up labor for each client serviced on tablet provided to them
Must be able to lift 25lbs min.

Part-time and full-time shifts for this positions are available.
Simply Miraculous supplies shirts, sweatshirts, and hats.
All Tools are provided for each gardener.
Pay is based on experience and availability. Hourly rate is open to negotiation to candidates that have exceptional fine gardening skills.
