Bed and Breakfast house owner near Savin Hill station is looking for housekeeper to vaccuum, mop, make beds, clean kitchens and bathrooms, do laundry, sweep porches, wipe down or dust furniture, clean microwave ovens and refrigerators, and other more seasonal housekeeping tasks. If you can also do light gardening (plant flowers, use electric grass mower, pull weeds, water plants) then there are more regular hours available.
When: Monday, Friday, Saturday usually, and occasionally Sunday. If you can only work weekends, apply anyway.
Housekeeping hours need to be worked between 10am and 4pm; gardening hours are more flexible.
Number of hours per shift vary but it will always be at least two hours.
We are very near the Edward Everett School, so if you have children there or you live on Jones Hill, this could be a very convenient job for you. We are less than half a mile from the Savin Hill subway station.
The pay is hourly because the duties and number of hours vary according to how many guests we have had that week and what season it is.
The job is very physically active and you will also need to be able to manage stairs easily. You will also need to respect the privacy of people who are living or staying at the house.
