I’m a furniture designer in Somerville looking for a reliable, hands-on assistant to help keep the studio running smoothly. This is a physical, detail-oriented job for someone organized and proactive.
Schedule & Pay:
2 days per week
Wed 2 to 6
Fri 2 to 6
8 hours total
$20/hour, paid in cash at the end of each week
What You’ll do but not limited to
Vacuum and keep the studio clean
Help with gluing and light furniture assembly
Light drilling (training provided)
Reorganize tools and materials
Lift and carry items up to 40lbs
Shadow me and help keep projects on track
Requirements:
Must provide a valid ID
Speaks English and communicates clearly
Reliable, punctual, and organized
Comfortable in a hands-on, physical environment
