Dog Bather and Grooming Apprentice responsibilities:
- Performing dog bathing and drying
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of bathing area
- Assisting groomers
- Learning the grooming process
- This is an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in learning the dog grooming trade!
- Flexible schedule (Saturdays required)
Qualifications:
- Experience with and a love for dogs
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to daily operations
- Respectful and kind demeanor
- Prior experience working with animals a plus, though not required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Dogish is located in the heart of Newtonville, immediately adjacent to the Newton MBTA commuter train stop, the 59 bus stop (Walnut St @ Newtonville Ave), and all Newtonville has to offercafes, restaurants, and shops.
